Canadian Pacific Ballet Presents “Coppelia”

A great Valentine’s Day gift, Coppelia comes to the McPherson Playhouse February 13th and 14th for 3 shows. A comic ballet, notable as the last of the Romantic era, Coppelia was originally choreographed by Arthur Saint-Leon and premiered in 1870 at the Opera House in Paris, France.

Famed for its beautiful score, composed by Leo Delibes, the ballet has remained a hallmark and a major step in the development of a ballerina.
